She's a dangerous woman who is trying to save her son from some kind of dark magic while also attempting to bring an end to human suffering. The story itself focuses heavily on the relationships between the main characters and how they develop over time. It delves into many interesting themes such as grief, repression and horror that will be sure to strike a chord with you on multiple levels. The unique art style of the series is easily one of its best features. The character designs are gorgeous and the scenery really pops out. It's hard to explain what makes it so unique, but it's immediately obvious that this is something special when you first see it. Female readers should know that there are some scenes between Rohan and Annabelle which are quite suggestive, but nothing too hardcore by any means.
