Despite Monika's upbeat attitude in the Literature Club, it becomes increasingly obvious that she is actually sad and lonely, as a result of being aware that her whole world is just a simulation. The worst part is that she can't even achieve what is considered "happiness", since her route can never be completed. She is fixated on obtaining the love of the player because they're the only "real" thing in her life. Monika's actions are also motivated by her desire to escape the torture she endures whenever someone quits the game, as when that happens Monika is trapped in a hellish void of noise, lights, colors, and screams, unable to move or even think. This is mentioned during Monika's Talk in Act 3.
What Happens After You Delete Monika
If the player then decides to delete Monika's character file, she will immediately vanish, and search for her file in a panic. When she finds out the player deleted her, she will be mad at the player and tell them that they "completely, truly make me sick." After a small pause, Monika tells the player that she still loves them. She will then feel the weight of her actions, realize the horrible things she has done to the other girls, and state that even though she knew they were not real people, she still saw them as her friends. Monika then restores the game, saying that if she really loves the player, she will bring back what they would have wanted. Monika is then absent for the rest of the game, until the final part of the normal ending.
All previous, Superhuman Strength & Durability, Mind Manipulation & Memory Manipulation (Controlled the minds of Yuri and Natsuki, made Natsuki forget the events of a previous day), Madness Manipulation (Type 3; Slowly drove Yuri insane and made her commit suicide), Biological Manipulation (Removed Natsuki's face and made her vomit), Acausality (Type 1; Unaffected by time resets. Is unbound by time, being unaffected by time being sped up, time being paused, and time no longer existing), Plot Manipulation (Has control of what happens in the game and can freely manipulate the events of the game), Time Manipulation & Time Stop (Can stop and speed up time), Resistance to Clairvoyance (Can see events that occur across the entire game world, such as the resurrection of characters through adding their files back, can see into the real world and whether one is recording or not), Information Manipulation & Data Manipulation (Can manipulate the information and data of the entire game world)
All Previous, Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Cosmic Awareness (Is aware of the real world and that the game has "infinite choices"), Reality Warping & Technopathy (Is able to bend and warp the game world at will), Existence Erasure & Conceptual Manipulation (Can delete the files of characters, destroyed the entire game several times on a conceptual level), Non-Corporeal & Nonexistent Physiology (Type 2; Can still exist and effect the game world, even when her file was erased), Resurrection (Of others and likely herself), Immortality (Types 1, 3, 4, & 5; Constantly implies that she can live for an eternity. And there are files appearing in the main directory and disappearing after some playthroughs. Also, I recall a poem or two in base64 (from == at the end), but I didn't copy them by hand into a notepad to decode them. (EDIT: I later gutted the game files open and decompiled the code and got the poem from there, so yeah, it's something, I don't get what it refers to though).Anyone found anything else?
Hmm, deleting monika.chr is interesting. How do you decode an OGG exactly and what came out of it? It was a valid ogg vorbis, at least file ( _(command) ) detected it so and it was some crackling in VLC.
i too got the same thing, at this point i know there is a way to get a set of words where you can impress monika and get some secret dialogue or poem but no ending. the word alone works for her because she says it herself near the end of the game, i found another word that works for her i dont remember what it was though
If the player decides to delete Monika from the game, Monika will then glitch out, before becoming disembodied and angrily expressing her disgust at the player. She will then claim that she made a mistake and express her regret at what she has done to her friends.

In Act 3, she will endlessly communicate with you in a universe where everything is gone except the club room, a table, and Monika with you. That is, unless you delete her character file. When you delete her she will ramble about how she realizes that you used her to try to get the other girls back. Monika then realizes that she is the one who should be blamed. After all, she did delete the universe she was in. Despite them not being real, Monika came to the conclusion that it didn't matter if the girls were or not. They were her friends and yours, and ends up bringing them back and deleting herself. Although, she's not completely gone - Once Sayori becomes the president of the club, she becomes self aware just like Monika, and goes all yandere-like, but she is stopped by what seems like Monika. Boxes appear on the screen saying that she won't let Sayori take advantage of her self awareness over the player like she did. It is realized that nothing she can do can make the literature club a happy place, and deletes the whole game.
